God in the Driver’s Seat

Image

This winter has been brutal on many fronts but especially with driving. This morning’s drive looked like this. Visibility was maybe a kilometer in places. The road conditions were good so I just took it slow and arrived safely. Have you ever let God take the wheel as the old song goes? Have you surrendered to the Driver and felt scared at times because you could not see far enough ahead of you to know the outcome? Or were you able to settle into your passenger seat and relax, trusting you would arrive at the destination that was chosen specifically for you?

Peace,

Suzanne

About sstyves

A Canadian prairie girl rooted in Ignatian spirituality, I seek God in all things. Whether I catch a glimpse of the Divine and delight in its presence in nature or in the beauty of an encounter with someone, I am ever so grateful that I can recognize the Creator. I greet each new day with hope and happiness, expecting blessings and miracles because I am created to praise, love and serve God. This blog is one way of realizing that through my writings, prayers, and photography. To God be the Glory!
