Cold as Ice

I am taking a photography course right now. The other night we had an outdoor element to the class. For the last 45 minutes of class, we went outside of the Parliament Building and tried some shots. I had been roasting inside because I had dressed so warm but it did not take long for me to get cold. I managed to stick it out for about half an hour and this is the best shot of the night. I learned how to customize my white balance so that the picture was not yellow but grey like this. That was worth braving the cold.

Sometimes in life we have to do things that do not make us very happy but bring us valuable lessons. What was the last lesson you are glad you learned?

Peace,

Suzanne

About sstyves

A Canadian prairie girl rooted in Ignatian spirituality, I seek God in all things. Whether I catch a glimpse of the Divine and delight in its presence in nature or in the beauty of an encounter with someone, I am ever so grateful that I can recognize the Creator. I greet each new day with hope and happiness, expecting blessings and miracles because I am created to praise, love and serve God. This blog is one way of realizing that through my writings, prayers, and photography. To God be the Glory!
