Melting Snow

Image

I took this photo about a week ago and the snow is melting here since. I have been home for a week and do not seem to have mice scurrying around. This is a blessing. I can maybe start cleaning tomorrow and moving on with my life. I hope they have scampered outside to enjoy the nice weather. I am sure this winter has taken its toll on all creatures big and small.

I am back doing Brene Brown’s e-course and this week’s intention is “I will honour the basic need to rest and play.” Getting caught up in life is easy; chilling is a challenge. Taking time to play will lead to much happiness and joy. Time for tea, anyone?

Is it time for you to come out of your hole and play?

Peace,

Suzanne

About sstyves

A Canadian prairie girl rooted in Ignatian spirituality, I seek God in all things. Whether I catch a glimpse of the Divine and delight in its presence in nature or in the beauty of an encounter with someone, I am ever so grateful that I can recognize the Creator. I greet each new day with hope and happiness, expecting blessings and miracles because I am created to praise, love and serve God. This blog is one way of realizing that through my writings, prayers, and photography. To God be the Glory!
