I must admit that I am a Prairie Girl through and through. I am on the road a lot these days and I love seeing the spectacular, never-ending vistas. The world is finally turning 50 shades of green and I rejoice. Creatures are coming out from long hibernations. The farmers are working in their fields. The sky is blue or filled with dark foreboding clouds. Such is the life of a prairie girl.
What is it about where you live that you love?
Peace,
Suzanne

About sstyves
A Canadian prairie girl rooted in Ignatian spirituality, I seek God in all things. Whether I catch a glimpse of the Divine and delight in its presence in nature or in the beauty of an encounter with someone, I am ever so grateful that I can recognize the Creator. I greet each new day with hope and happiness, expecting blessings and miracles because I am created to praise, love and serve God. This blog is one way of realizing that through my writings, prayers, and photography. To God be the Glory!
I love the sound of water in the creek by where I am walking, I love to see a hummingbird seemingly stop for a moment to look into my eyes, I love walking with friends where quietness is some of the best discussions we have, I love watching girls jump on the trampoline, I love S2, I love all the possibilities there are in ‘hope’, I love knowing that over the mountains there is prairie… miles and miles of prairie… this is the thought that still often quiets my heart.
Ah, dearest K2, I feel the passion of a prairie transplant and it does my heart good to know that over the mountains there is ocean, plus whales, purple star fish and cherry blossoms that sprinkle the ground like prairie snow. This place over the mountains has a loving place in this prairie heart because of many long and deep conversations with you. Much love. Thanks for these stunning images.
