A young student I was working with the other day was rattling off her very long list for Santa and I smiled at her desires, varied and marvelous. We kept on working and it was a few hours before she stopped and looked at me. “What about you,” she inquired, “What do you want for Christmas?” Without really thinking, I replied quite honestly, “World peace.” She cocked her head and looked at me quizzically. “Peace,” I reiterated. She frowned and said nothing else as she went back to her work. I realized that my wish was as equally as impossible as this young girl’s shopping list.
What is your heart’s desire this Christmas?
Peace,
Suzanne
